Hidalgo County Texas Democratic Women   (HCTDW)

The Hidalgo County Texas Democratic Women (HCTDW) began with a small group of women who came together to form an organization that promoted the participation and influence of Democratic women in local politics and government. These women had a vision that women in Hidalgo County could participate in the Hidalgo County Democratic party with equal standing, value, and influence. As part of the path to accomplishing this, they knew that they had to develop and increase their campaign skills and learn more about how to run successful campaigns, that they had to be more willing to run for office by recruiting more women to run and really supporting each other when they did and by being willing and able to contribute and raise money for candidates and campaigns.


You can either donate a one time donation of $20, $60, or $120 or you can be an ongoing/continuous donor and sign up to have $15, $20, or $25 charged to your credit card each month for 12 months.

If you choose a one time donation, it can either be done by mailing a check to the HCTDW or by charging it to your credit card though ActBlue. If you choose to make a continuous/ongoing donation, it must by charged to your credit card through ActBlue.

You may choose to pay with a credit card online via ActBlue(recommended) or by mailing a check. If you would like to make recurring monthly payments then you must choose ActBlue. If paying with ActBlue, please submit your payment BEFORE completing the application in the next step.

You must fill out the membership form in step 3 in order to finish the application process. Your membership application will be incomplete and cannot be considered unless you do so.

Contributions are not tax-deductible.

HCTDW is a registered Political Action Committee (PAC).
